A Few things to know:

Hedin North Farms is a working farm and garden space. During your event, you may occasionally hear the natural rhythms of farm life — children, dogs, chickens, or the sounds of us tending the land. While we are always mindful of events taking place and make every effort to keep noise to a minimum, especially in the back garden areas, some background activity is part of the authentic farm experience.

Because our gatherings take place outdoors and among the gardens, guests should expect the presence of nature — including insects. Food and flowers may attract flies, gnats, or bees, and this is something we cannot fully eliminate. Our yard is treated for mosquitoes; however, the garden spaces themselves are not sprayed. Citronella and other mosquito-repellent options may be placed throughout the garden, and bug spray will be available for guest use. Natural repellents are also available for purchase. If you have a preferred repellent, we recommend bringing your own.

For those seeking the most comfortable conditions, late summer/fall is truly prime time on the farm. Cooler temperatures, fewer insects, and the option of hosting portions of your gathering in the greenhouse offer a more secluded and relaxed experience.

An outdoor restroom rental is provided for guest convenience.
