Hello! We are the Hedin family (pronounced ha-deen — but everyone says “headin”). Welcome to our site. We are excited to be providing for our community.

I am Sam, founder of Hedin North Farms. My husband Jason and I are proud parents of two children, Charlee and Clayton. I have always been somewhat of a health person, but back in 2020 (whew, remember that?), I decided I wanted to take my own health and spiritual journey to another level and provide my community with the tools necessary to allow them to live more holistically and healthy. This idea has been three years in the making, but for me, a life long journey. My son was diagnosed with autoimmune early on in his life and it really woke me up to not only his disease, but how we were living as a family, what we were consuming and the types of products we were using in our household. Making small steps for the last 4 years has lead me to this now moment, where I feel I am educated and ready to provide for my community.

In 2022, we took our ideas and implemented them into building a greenhouse on our land and started scaling up our garden size. By 2023 we are ready to provide microgreens, herbs and cut flowers to our community. Living life simple, well and beautiful is our mission and we hope we can inspire people to do the same. We are excited to share what we have to offer in hopes people can take back their own courage and power to live healthy, make their own medicines, cook nutritious foods and truly tap back into nature.
